The Official Motorola Mobility is owned by Google

Mobility Motorola finally officially become the property of Google. The acquisition valued at USD 12.5 billion was complete after obtaining approval from the relevant regulators in the United States, Europe and China.

Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha stepped down from his position. Dennis Woodside who currently serves as Senior Vice President of Google will replace Sanjay position. Dennis joined Google in 2003.
Quoted by Computerworld, Wednesday (5/23/2012), Dennis hopes Motorola will continue to be able to create a good tool to use people around the world.
Google also raised several new executives at Motorola. As Mark Randal, a former vice president of Amazon and Nokia as well as Vanessa Wittmanm former officials at Visa.

"Motorola is the major technology company in the United States that triggered the mobile revolution with a 80-year track record of innovation, including creating the first mobile phone," said Google CEO Larry Page announced the completion of the acquisition time.

Google announced its intent to acquire Motorola's Mobility in August last year. This acquisition will strengthen Google's patent portfolio for Motorola Mobility has approximately 17 thousand mobile patents.
